Methods to reduce the wear and tear of slurry pump

In order to reduce the wear of the slurry pump and extend the service life of the pump, we can choose methods from different perspectives. We summarize these methods as design, data selection, pump selection and use.
The slurry pump uses the dynamic principle and rheological characteristics of solid-liquid mixture to carry out the hydraulic design and structural design of the flow passage parts of the pump, so as to conform to the movement rules of solid-liquid mixture in the pump channel, reduce eddy current and partial loss, and reduce wear.
1) According to the motion trajectory of solid particles in the solid-liquid mixture in the channel, the blade profile and channel shape are designed.
2) The cross-section of the runner is changed evenly to reduce eddy current and secondary flow.
3) The impeller outlet is designed to be concave.
4) The impeller and relevant parts of the pump body shall be properly thickened.
5) Metal and rubber sleeves can be exchanged, and so on.
